Freezing - Hydrates and Ice

Controlling the formation of hydrates and ice has many applications in areas like oil and gas, power generation and infrastructure. Our research efforts are targeted at understanding the influence of electric fields and surface chemistry on the nucleation kinetics of hydrates and ice.
